Huge congratulations to our school choir who sang so beautifully at the Cór Fhéile tonight. The children sang two songs from The Greatest Showman and finished up with a stunning version of Coldplay’s Fix You. They have been working extremely hard during rehearsals and this was very clear during their fantastic performance. Well done to everyone involved!

Students from Junior Infants to Sixth Class took part in our Christmas concerts this year, showcasing a huge variety of songs, poems, dances, skits and plays. A lot of hard work went into preparing each class’s piece and this was evident in the high quality performances. Well done everyone! For more photos please visit the individual class blogs.
We are so privileged to have had the Army Band visit us again this Christmas for a morning of movie themes and festive tunes. We always love to see them arriving and pupils and staff alike both greatly enjoyed the show. A huge thank you to the whole band, particularly their conductor Noel Galvin, for joining us today!
We were all delighted to have a visit from the London Chamber Brass Quintet this week. They entertained us for over an hour with exciting music and lots of audience participation. We learned all about their instruments and even how to conduct! The musicians were very impressed when we managed to identify all of the film scores correctly!
On Tuesday the 28th of March our school choir consisting of children from 4th, 5th and 6th classes took part in the Cór Fhéile na Scol. They performed along with seven other schools to a large audience in the City Hall. The children performed three songs from the ‘Trolls’ movie – True Colours, The Sound of Silence and Tá an Móthú seo go hÁlainn. They have been working very hard over the last few months with rehearsals at lunch time, during school and after school and it certainly paid off as their performance was outstanding! Well done to our fabulous school choir, you are a credit to the school. Also a great big thanks to Mr Kennedy, Ms Cremin and Ms. Norris for preparing them for their perfromance.
Everyone in Scoil Chill Ruadháin was thrilled to be visited by the Army Band today! They played a huge range of songs from Frozen to Lady Gaga to Jingle Bells! They were even joined by two of our pupils who took up the baton as conductor for a number of songs and by Ms Roche who kindly stepped in to play the flute while the flautist was singing! There was a wonderful festive atmosphere in the halla during the concert and all of the children and teachers had great fun singing and dancing along!
