Engineer’s Week

We had a great week for Engineer’s Week, both at school and at home! The children were involved in lots of different engineering projects including designing robots, building bridges, making boats and creating rockets, to name but a few. We learned about the International Space Station and discovered the best materials to use to build parachutes and to protect a dropped egg. To see more of their amazing creations please visit our class blogs. The children also took part in virtual Engineer’s Week Shows. We’re looking forward to next year already!

Engineers Week

We had a great time celebrating Engineers Week here in Scoil Ruadháin! From school trips to engineers visits to classroom activities, everyone got involved! A huge thank you to the parents who came to share their expertise or invited the pupils to join them in their workplace! Looking forward to another fun-filled week next year!

Engineers Week – Snow Creations

This year, for Engineers Week, lots of our pupils designed and built amazing snow creations! They had to formulate plans and solve problems as they worked. They really worked as engineers and we are all so impressed with what they created! More photos will be added so please check in again soon and visit the class blogs to see even more photos.
