As many of you may know April is Autism Awareness Month. This is an event that we celebrate every year in Scoil Chill Ruadháin. We have decorated our school foyer and hung a blue balloon in every room to mark the occasion. Throughout the month the children will be taking part in various lessons and activities to increase their awareness and understanding of autism.
The ninth annual World Autism Awareness Day took place yesterday on April 2. Every year, autism organisations around the world celebrate the day with unique fundraising and awareness-raising events. Scoil Chill Ruadhain were delighted to join in once again in marking this special day.
Use #LIUB to share your experience across social media and help light the world up blue this April!
Thank you so much to everyone who supported our coffee morning for Autism Awareness this morning! We would also like to thank our wonderful Parents Association for running the event and making it possible!
