Congratulations to all of our Sixth Class pupils who received their confirmation yesterday! Thank you to all of the staff members who were involved in preparing for this special day. A big thank you also to our Parents Association for hosting a lovely get-together at school after the ceremony!
Huge congratulations to our school choir who sang so beautifully at the Cór Fhéile tonight. The children sang two songs from The Greatest Showman and finished up with a stunning version of Coldplay’s Fix You. They have been working extremely hard during rehearsals and this was very clear during their fantastic performance. Well done to everyone involved!
As many of you may know April is Autism Awareness Month. This is an event that we celebrate every year in Scoil Chill Ruadháin. We have decorated our school foyer and hung a blue balloon in every room to mark the occasion. Throughout the month the children will be taking part in various lessons and activities to increase their awareness and understanding of autism.
Congratulations to our Fifth and Sixth Classes who performed wonderfully at Feis Maitiú this week!
Today was World Down Syndrome Day 2019. This is a day that is very important to us all in Scoil Chill Ruadháin. The children really enjoyed getting involved, learning more about Down Syndrome and rocking their funky socks!!
