On behalf of the pupils of 6th Class, we would like to express our sincere gratitude at the wonderful support of the 6th Class cake sale last Friday. The children raised a grand total of €560! We are so proud of the children in 6th Class for organising such a fantastic event & we have already purchased some new soccer balls for the yard out of their fundraising efforts.
Once again many thanks for your support of this event,
My name is Caoimhe Deane & I am in 6th Class. As we are nearly finished our time in Scoil Chill Ruadháin, Brooklodge, we are organising a cake sale for this Friday, June 18th, as we would like to fundraise for school equipment & leave a legacy behind us when we leave this school. I wrote a poem to give you all the information you & your child need:
Cake Sale
By Caoimhe Deane
6th Class are putting on a cake sale,
For students’ female & male.
6th Class want to leave their mark,
By fundraising for new equipment – maybe in the park!
Next Friday June 18th is when this cake sale starts,
We’ll go from door to door until we are done our parts.
We’ll sell queen cakes, Rice Krispie cakes and Rocky Road,
50 cents + is all that is owed.
Different cakes for every class,
Don’t worry we’ll stay distant to make this moment last.
We’ll do our part & wear a mask,
A school donation is all we ask!
In Summary:
Cake Sale will take place this Friday, June 18th.
All children are asked to bring in a donation of 50c (or more if they wish!)
One cake per child.
Fundraising for school equipment – some ideas 6th Class have had is to buy new soccer balls, basketball hoops for the yard & Science equipment.
5th Class Cycle Club had a wonderful cycle in Killarney’s National Park on today. Mark O’Donoghue led us through the park. We stopped at Muckross House, Dinis Cottage, The Meeting of the Waters and Torc Waterfall. We cycled approximately 28km in beautiful sunshine and a great time was had by all. Big thanks to Mark […]
