As you may know April is Autism Awareness Month. This week everyone is Scoil Chill Ruadháin is getting ready to do their bit to raise awareness. The children will be taking part in many activities throughout the week and the whole school will be wearing blue jeans on Friday to mark the occasion.
We will also be holding a coffee morning on Friday from 9-11am in the school halla and all are welcome! All funds raised will be going towards buying equipment for Seoidín, which is our class for children with autism.
Scoil Chill Ruadháin will be taking part in the Community Cup next Wednesday, May 4th. The event will take place at 6pm in Glanmire Football Club and the commentator on the day will be none other than Micheál Ó Muircheartaigh! We look forward to seeing you there!

Third Class had a great time on our school tour in Fota last week! We learned lots about all the different animals and really enjoyed the day!
5th Class Cycle Club had a wonderful cycle in Killarney’s National Park on today. Mark O’Donoghue led us through the park.
