Féile Team Visit

We were delighted to welcome the girls from the Sars U14 Féile team this afternoon. The team recently won the All-Ireland with a number of players winning it for the third year running! We were thrilled to see so many past pupils on the team. We were very surprised and delighted to receive our own award from the team in recognition of our 2-in-a-Row Sciath na Scol victories in recent years!

Teachers vs Sixth Class!

Congratulations to the teachers team who won the annual soccer match against the departing Sixth Class today! The score was very close throughout with both teams level at a few points during the match before it finally finished 3-2.

Sciath na Scol

A huge congratulations to our camogie team who reached the final of Sciath na Scol and played against Whitechurch in Páirc Uí Chaoimh today. The girls and their coaches have been training really hard throughout the year and, although today’s result was unfortunately not in their favour, they will never forget the amazing experience of playing in the new stadium with the whole school cheering them on! Well done everybody!!!

Safety Awareness Flag

We were delighted to receive the Cork County Council Safety Flag yesterday in a ceremony in The Vertigo Room on the 17th floor of the County Hall. Fifth Class have been working really hard over the past few months in order to reach this achievement. They have been on water safety training days and have taught all the younger students about water safety.
